FUNDRAISING EVENTSCircle offers a great opportunity to have fun and raise money for charity at the same time.
Each year, Cheadle & Gatley Circle supports the Round Table bonfire at the Together Trust in Cheadle. We also donate money to various local charities.
Over the years we have funded the training of a guide dog, provided a specialised wheelchair for a young boy about to go to high school, and helped fund a playground for the Royal Schools for the Deaf.
Ladies Circle supports a number of national charities as an organisation and each year volunteers help at Cancer Research UK ‘Race for Life’ events in our area. There is always lots to be done, from registration and marshalling, to handing out medals – that’s if you’re not running the race itself!
